2018 Nominations and Election

There are sixteen voting members of the California Association of School Counselors Board of Directors - each of whom are elected to serve their respective constituencies. Each board member's term is two years, beginning July 1 and ending June 30, with the exception of Executive Vice President who transitions to President Elect, President and then Immediate Past President over four consecutive years. CASC holds its annual elections each spring to fill board member seats that would become vacant at the end of their term.

The following positions are up for election in 2018; click on any title to see a description of the duties and responsibilities for each seat: 

The nomination period for these seats opens January 1 and ends March 1, 2018. Electronic ballots for the 2018 election become available March 15 and must be submitted by April 15 in order to be counted. Results are available no later than May 1. Nomination papers for the 2018 election are now available and can be downloaded below. CASC's nomination and election policies are also below for your convenience.
