The devastating fires in Los Angeles and surrounding areas have profoundly impacted many lives, including those of our school counselors. These dedicated professionals, who tirelessly support students and families, now find themselves in need of support. Some have lost their homes, while others have seen their schools and offices destroyed, leaving them without the tools and materials essential to their work.
The California Association of School Counselors (CASC) is organizing a fundraising campaign to help ease the financial burden on these counselors as they rebuild their lives and regain the resources needed to serve their communities. Additionally, we are partnering with the Los Angeles County Office of Education to bring critical support to affected schools. We will also keep you informed about any volunteer efforts needed in the future.
Your contribution—regardless of the amount—can make a significant difference in helping these counselors recover and continue their vital work.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity during this difficult time. Together, we can support those who dedicate their lives to supporting others.
