On October 17, CASC is offering two pre-conference sessions from which to choose!
Legal Literacy and Ethical Practice in the Complex World of School Counseling is a workshop designed to facilitate participants' legal literacy and provide guiding principles to support best ethical practice in the field of school counseling. This intensive training is offered by nationally recognized school counseling leader, and author of numerous articles and books, Dr. Caroline Stone.
Developing Trauma Informed Framework and Strategies in Schools is an extensive training that school counselors can use to better understand and mitigate the effects of trauma in their schools. Come here and learn from state and district leaders, Dean Lesicko, lecturer, administrator and state representative for the California Student Mental Health Policy Workgroup and Dr. Vanessa Gomez Lee, lecturer, administrator and trainer of school counselors throughout the nation!
Each session begins at 9:30am and end at 4:00pm. Registration is $149 per person and includes lunch. Please click on the appropriate button on the right to register now for one of these great sessions!
If you are also attending the conference on October 18 and/or 19, you may add the pre-conference session during the registration process; no need to register separately.
