In today’s competitive school counseling job market, effective resume and interview skills can open up a variety of opportunities. This workshop is for graduating school counseling graduate students. It addresses strategies for resume writing and preparing for your interview and your first job as a school counselor. Learn how to effectively highlight your knowledge, experiences, and abilities on your resume and during interviews and become better prepared for the different interview styles and approach employers are most likely to use today.
Attendance is limited to graduating students (in their final year of the program and their last 200 hours of fieldwork.) CASC is pleased to offer this valuable program to CASC graduate student members for free. Graduate students who are not CASC members (but have the met the same criteria for attendance) may attend for a fee of $35. The workshop is designed to be delivered in small-group format. Frontline staff and board members experienced in screening and interviewing school counseling candidates will be available to offer individualized support.
