Part of the California Youth Behavioral Health Initiative is to fund programs to support behavioral health. BrightLife Kids is a program for children aged 0-12 and their families – and it's completely free! Three Main Components of this program include:
- Digital tools
- Live coaching sessions
- Care coordination
Participants will learn about the program features including the enrollment process. They will also learn about how TK-8 grade schools can access this resource for students and caregivers as a free resource.

Irene Biscante, NBC-HWC, Vice President, Coaching
Irene is a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach and behavior change specialist, with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, business operations, and digital tech startups. She specializes in 1:1 video, chat-based, and group cognitive behavioral coaching, utilizing evidence-based approaches to address anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and to implement preventive and early intervention strategies promoting health and well-being across age groups, from children to adults. She currently serves as Vice President of Coaching at Brightline, where she oversees coaching and care coordination services, leads and develops teams, shapes functional strategies, and ensures program quality and efficacy.
Jennifer La Guardia, Ph.D, Vice President, Care Innovation
Dr. Jennifer La Guardia is a behavior scientist and clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience designing and implementing programs that employ motivational approaches and clinical best practices to promote health behavior change, improve mental health, well being, and resilience, and manage chronic illness. She is the Vice President of Care Innovation at Brightline, Inc. and in this role is a core leader of the strategic vision and application of evidence-based best practices to develop products and care team interventions that support mental health in children, teens, and their families.
