Student Mental Health Summit - May 12
California Student Mental Health Summit:
Building Resilience and Empowering Youth
Friday, May 12, 2023
8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Location: San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront, 1800 Old Bayshore Highway, Burlingame, CA 94010
The California Student Mental Health Summit is presented in partnership with three youth-led organizations: GenUp, the California Children's Partnership, Schools for Climate Action, CreateCA, and the California Association of Student Councils. We believe that youth are the key to unlocking solutions that will improve mental health outcomes for all Californians. This event is aimed at promoting student mental health, well-being, and resilience.
During the summit, we will host a range of interactive activities, panel discussions, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Attendees will hear from experts in the field of youth mental health, learn about innovative programs and initiatives, and connect with other like-minded individuals who are passionate about this critical issue.
We have invited (but not yet confirmed) Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the First Partner of California, as our keynote speaker. Ms. Newsom is an accomplished filmmaker, advocate, and entrepreneur, and she has been a fierce champion for children's mental health.
We invite you to join us for this exciting event and be part of the movement to build a brighter future for California's youth. Together, we can create a world where all young people have access to the mental health care and the support they need to thrive.
